KALARIPPAYATTU TRAINING

Kalari Payattu is far more than a system of combat—it is a complete pathway for shaping a human being from the inside out. Through disciplined movement, structured breathwork, and deep mental focus, the practitioner learns to synchronize body, mind, and energy into one harmonious flow. This integration creates a powerful inner stability that extends into every part of life. The physical training builds strength, flexibility, and coordination, while the mental discipline cultivates clarity, patience, and resilience. Over time, Kalari becomes a living philosophy, guiding individuals to handle stress, challenges, and conflicts with calm determination and unwavering confidence. It is a lifelong foundation that enhances every step of one’s journey.

KALARIPPAYATTU STAGE EVENTS

Kalaripayattu is the traditional martial art of Kerala. It is essential to preserve such heritage art forms. Therefore, Bhargava Kalari  sangam organizes various types of performing stage shows to help people in Kerala, across India, and even in foreign countries learn about and experience this art. This is also a part of ensuring its continuity. In these shows, our main attraction is the unique blindfold fighting, which no one else performs. We have been conducting shows and demonstration camps not only in Kerala but also in many states across India, as well as in Middle Eastern and European countries.

Great Indian Show in European countries, South Asian Federation Show, Middle East Festival Show, UP Mayawati Together Show, Shivaji Great Day Show in Bombay, Cochin University Show, Cine Fighters 50-Year Show in Chennai, National Institute of Technology Show, Bharatiyam Show in New Delhi, Lecture and Demonstration Show in Langkawi, Malaysia, Cultural Demonstration Show at Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Nepal, Madras University Show, Thacholi Othenan Show, Ponniyath Angham Show, Temple Festival Shows, Indo-Manipur Show (Indira Gandhi University), etc., are the major events we have performed.

KALARI WITH PERFORMING CULTURAL TEMPLE ART

Kalari is the essence of movement, breath, rhythm, and expression—qualities at the heart of all traditional and modern art forms. Artists who wish to excel in theatre, cinema, ritual performance, or folk traditions benefit immensely from Kalari-based conditioning. Our specialized training improves posture, flexibility, timing, and emotional steadiness, helping artists enter the stage with clarity and confidence. Numerous temple arts, including Theyyam, Poorakali, Pulikali, and Parichamuttukali, have long relied on Kalari techniques such as stances, jumps, weapon patterns, and controlled body gestures. We preserve these practices by teaching them in their most authentic form. To promote cultural heritage, we also host Kalari–art fusion programs across the country and internationally. Within our institution, temple artists receive focused preparation so that every ritual performance carries the power, beauty, and traditional excellence passed down through generations.
